Right, firstly a quick explanation of what's this page is all about. Our aim is to make publicly available the comments recorded by residents on the questionnaires that are left in every room prior to a guest's arrival. Naturally not every guest fills a form in, but by making public knowledge the feedback that we do receive, we hope that the independent views expressed (by people who have actually stayed and experienced the hotel) may prove helpful in your own decision making process. We've got a huge backlog of forms to post from 2004-06 but at present we won't be doing this as most comments are pretty similar to the ones already listed.
The format of presentation we are starting with may well evolve over the long run (or indeed the short-term) as it's a learning process for us, so please excuse any initial laboured style. We have loaded up forms going as far back as the beginning of January 2000.
A summary (not individual comments) of comments received between July-December 2000 will shortly be added and that's probably as far back as we'll go, bearing in mind a new months worth of forms are added on a monthly basis.
The questionnaires takes the format of two questions which simply ask:
What was the most pleasing aspect of your stay?
If you were able to alter one thing (service, standards, facilities etc) what would this be?
We have abbreviated comments where appropriate and attempted to place them in one of three categories (the third being for anything that doesn't conveniently fall into the first two).
Where we feel the need to reply to any comments, these appear in RED print.
